Irutan is the 1975 Okinawa Oceanic Expo Mascot character. Popularized in toy design from by Bullmark, and Grip, with smaller pendants by Patora. These are made of diecast metal, and are in exceptional condition. A nice break from the typical Primary colors typical of 1970s toy color palettes.
Commercial Mascots being produced into vinyl and diecast is much more common place in Japan than in other parts of the world. These characters range from obscure local product or single store brands, to large famous brands, like Kewpie Mayonnaise or Buddy Lee.
